My husband and I live in a small rural area west of Atlanta, Georgia. Primarily a self-taught artist, I work instinctively with many mediums. Depending on a client's preference or the subject matter chosen, works are done in either oil, acrylic, watercolor, colored pencil, graphite, ink or pastels. A combination of mediums and added materials may be used for many pieces of my work. I spend most of my time working on commissions for portraits of people or pets, but also have many requests to paint or draw other subjects such as a landscape, seascape, wildlife or still-life (I will attempt most anything a client ask for). I schedule time off from commissions in the Fall of each year for making art or crafts for shows and festivals or to give as gifts to family and friends.
